About ONUMA, Inc.

Established in 1988, ONUMA, Inc. stands at the forefront of merging digital and physical environments. Under Kimon Onuma's leadership, the company's unique team of architects and computer scientists developed the award-winning ONUMA System, a web-based real-time cloud collaboration tool for Building Information Modeling (BIM), Digital Twins and Geographic Information Systems (GIS). This pioneering approach underscores the potential of BIM for the entire lifecycle of assets. Linked to the ONUMA System, they developed BIMgenie, a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) that enables BIM and digital twins. This integration allows assets of all types and scales to link with geographical data and maintenance schedules, optimizing facility and asset management. ONUMA, Inc.'s innovative applications of technology have led to collaborations with an array of significant organizations such as the Department of Defense, Department of Veterans Affairs, Department of State, the National Institute of Building Sciences, the National Academies of Sciences, the Federal Facilities Council, and the Asset Leadership Network. Their approach, characterized by agility, leanness, and innovation, drives the development of solutions applicable across the entire facility lifecycle.
